If you've worked with SEO tools or Google Ads, you're used to seeing how often a keyword is searched every month. For AI platforms, this data doesn't exist.
Why the data isn't available
ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google don't publish how often people ask a particular question in their AI products. This applies to every AI visibility tool on the market, not just MARA.
That's why the prompts in the AI Visibility Tracker are so-called synthetic prompts: questions written to match what guests are likely to ask, rather than questions taken from real search data.
How MARA makes sure your prompts are realistic
Prompts are based on your hotel's profile: your region, your hotel type, the guests you want to attract and the features they look for.
Prompts are phrased like a guest looking for a place to stay, not like a marketing text.
The three prompt types cover broad searches as well as specific needs. Broad Destination Discovery prompts are probably asked most often, but they're also the most competitive.
How you can judge your prompts
Ask yourself one simple question for each prompt: would a real guest type this before booking? You can also draw on what you already know about your guests, for example:
questions guests ask your reservations team or front desk before booking
questions guests ask your website chatbot
search terms in your Google Search Console or Google Ads account
You can edit, add and remove prompts at any time.
