The AI Visibility Tracker runs your prompts on four AI platforms:
ChatGPT
Gemini
Perplexity
Google AI Overviews (the AI-generated answers shown at the top of Google search results)
Why these four platforms
These are the AI platforms travellers use most when they look for a place to stay. ChatGPT is by far the most widely used of them, so it's usually the most important one to watch.
Why Claude isn't included
Claude is mainly used for work rather than for planning trips, so it isn't part of the AI Visibility Tracker at the moment.
Why your results differ between platforms
Each AI platform uses its own web search and prefers different sources. That's why your hotel can be recommended on one platform and not on another for the very same prompt. Some examples from our data:
ChatGPT often reads hotel websites.
Google AI Overviews often relies on Google's own sources, such as Google Business Profiles and YouTube.
Gemini and Perplexity often draw on OTA listings, review sites, travel guides and blogs.
These patterns can change whenever a platform updates its model or its search. To see which sources a platform used for your prompts, filter the Sources view or a single prompt by platform.
Good to know
The answers you see in the AI Visibility Tracker come from prompts MARA sends to each platform. They are not real guest conversations.
AI answers vary from run to run, even for the same question. This is why MARA runs every prompt repeatedly and calculates your visibility across many answers instead of relying on a single one.
Paid placements, such as ads, are not part of the results.
