Marking recommendations as done or dismissing them

Tell MARA what you've implemented and which recommendations don't apply to your hotel.

Marking a recommendation as done

When you've implemented a recommendation, mark it as done. MARA asks you briefly what you changed. Your note is saved with the recommendation and added to your visibility charts, so you can later see whether the change had an effect.

Dismissing a recommendation

If a recommendation doesn't apply to your hotel, dismiss it. Common reasons:

  • The information already exists, for example you're already listed on the recommended website.

  • You can't make the change yourself, for example because a platform doesn't allow you to edit that information.

  • The recommendation doesn't fit your business, for example it targets guests you don't want to attract.

Why it's worth keeping your board up to date

  • You and your team always see what's open and what's done.

  • Your completed changes appear on your visibility charts, which makes it easier to understand what's working.
