Why are some of my reviews missing in MARA?

There are a few common reasons for missing reviews in your Inbox:

  • The review is not answerable, and therefore not reflected in your Inbox (e.g., Booking reviews without text, anonymous survey responses). While the inbox per default only displays reviews that you can reply to, all reviews you receive are always counted into your analytics (e.g., in your Property Overview). You can view unanswerable reviews in your inbox by deactivating the respective Filter in your inbox filters, or export all reviews in your Review Report.

  • There may be a short delay between when a review is posted on the original platform (like Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Airbnb) and when it appears in MARA due to syncing intervals. MARA only updates your inbox once a day (usually around 2am CET).

  • Integration issues or permissions errors can prevent some reviews from being imported.

  • Platforms may update their APIs or change access rules, temporarily disrupting review imports.

If reviews are still missing after a reasonable waiting period (e.g., a day or two), double-check that your integrations are active and configured correctly. If the problem persists, contact MARA support so they can investigate or trigger a manual sync.
